Compensation calculator

An indicative UK medical negligence compensation estimate. Combines Judicial College Guidelines general-damages brackets with your past and future losses.

How this calculator works

UK medical negligence damages have two components. General damages compensate the pain, suffering and loss of amenity caused by the injury — judges use the Judicial College Guidelines (JCG) to keep awards consistent. Special damages compensate financial losses — past and future loss of earnings, care, treatment, equipment and accommodation.
